☕ The Coffee

How fresh is your coffee?
Every bag is roasted to order by our small-batch specialty craft roasting partners. That means your coffee is roasted after you place your order — not weeks or months beforehand. Most orders are roasted and shipped within 1–3 business days.

What grind should I choose?
Not sure which grind is right for you? Here's a quick guide:

  • Whole Bean — You have a grinder at home and want maximum freshness. Best choice.
  • Standard (Medium) — Works great for drip coffee makers and pour-over.
  • Coarse — Best for French press, cold brew, and percolator.
  • Espresso (Fine) — For espresso machines and Moka pots.

What makes Dead Awake different from coffee at the grocery store?
Freshness. That bag at Publix could have been roasted months ago. Coffee starts losing its flavor and aroma the moment it's roasted. Because we roast to order, your coffee arrives at peak freshness — and once you taste the difference, grocery store coffee just doesn't cut it anymore.

Do you offer decaf?
Yes! Check out our Peru Decaf — full flavor, no caffeine. Available in the Coffee collection.

Where are your beans sourced from?
We work with small-batch specialty craft roasters who source high-quality beans from origins around the world, including Colombia, Brazil, Tanzania, Sumatra, Honduras, Costa Rica, and more. Every origin is selected for quality and flavor profile.

📦 Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?
Orders are roasted and shipped within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, domestic delivery typically takes 3–7 business days via USPS. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

How much does shipping cost?
Domestic flat rate shipping is $7.95. Orders over $45 ship free. International orders are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide via USPS. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Please note that customers are responsible for any customs fees or duties imposed by their country.

Can I track my order?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with your USPS tracking number.

🔄 Subscriptions

How does the Subscribe & Save work?
Choose any coffee, select "Subscribe & Save 15%" at checkout, and pick your delivery frequency — every 2 weeks or once a month. You'll automatically save 15% on every order and never run out of coffee. Cancel, pause, or modify anytime.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely — no tricks, no runaround. Log into your account and manage your subscription anytime, or email us at help@deadawakecoffee.com and we'll handle it for you same day.

Can I change my subscription frequency?
Yes. Log in to your account and update your delivery schedule whenever you need to.

💬 Returns & Refunds

What if I don't like my coffee?
We stand behind every bag we roast. If you're unhappy with your first order for any reason, reach out and we'll make it right — replacement bag, store credit, or refund. We want you coming back, not walking away.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery at help@deadawakecoffee.com with a photo and your order number. We'll ship a replacement immediately at no charge.

We're based in Valrico, Florida. Our coffee is roasted by small-batch specialty craft roasting partners who share our obsession with freshness and quality.

Do you offer gift cards?
